Hello, we are Constant Lovers, a Seattle-based experiential rock & roll band. We like to walk the line of the expected and the strange. To be heavy and humorous, loud and sensitive, brash and intentional. We’re compelled by the joy of creation and the connections it opens between us, with our listeners, and within ourselves.

We sound like a rock band at our core. Early records reflect a wild, unhinged, post-punk approach to writing. Heavy drumming, angular guitars feeding back, grinding fuzzy bass lines, and vocals pushed to broken. As our sound has evolved, many of these elements still inform our writing, but we continue to experiment and play with expectations. With the addition of a fifth member on horns, percussion, and vocals, we’ve expanded our ability to explore new sounds and rhythms. Hints of jazz, psych, grunge, pop, and whatever else has seeped into our subconscious over years of listening have naturally made their way into our writing.

Our latest EP, Troposphere, is our first recording as a five-piece. It reflects this new direction with polyrhythms, sax and flute leads, synthesizers, and more dynamic vocals while keeping that weirdo rock spirit vivid and alive. 

Our live show is where our music fully comes to life and where we love to share our art. We’re loud, energetic, and sincere without taking ourselves too seriously. Dueling saxes, heavy drumming, hypnotic bass, hair flying, and a joyful spirit connect us to the audience and invite them to be a part of the experience. Our mosh pits are more smiles and high-fives than flying fists and body checks. We drive ourselves to the edge and take those willing with us, which turns out to be really, really fun.
